Who's it for?: Children 1 – 2 years, with one or both parents/caregivers.
Details:
Jumpin’ Beans are active in their environment, working on new skills and new words each day. This weekend toddler playgroup allows time to play along with others while exploring our sensory, water or sand tables, experimenting with toddler-safe art materials, and navigating mini obstacle courses.
- We begin each week with a circle of song, dance, props and parachute play to engage each child and encourage participation in unique ways.
- Sensory exploration tables use water, sand or rice to experiment with stirring, scooping, pouring, hiding and seeking toys.
- Dramatic play is introduced with realistic toys, dolls and other age-appropriate props.
- Toddler-safe art materials are offered for creative and sensory exploration.
- Slides, bouncing toys, tunnels, balls, push toys and pull toys promote new motor skills.
- Along the way, these busy one year olds also practice listening, sharing and taking turns.
- Class concludes with the familiar routine of a story book, goodbye song and bubbles.
Registration Information:
- One registration accommodates one child and one or both his/her parents/caregivers.
- Twins: Please call 781.429.1500 to register for two spaces. Second twin $25. A second parent or caregiver is welcome but not required.
- Up to two make ups allowed during the same session.
- Class Length: One hour each week.
