Who's it for?: Take after the 5th month of pregnancy, prior to 36 weeks; or after baby is born. Parents, grandparents and caregivers are welcome!
Details:
Hands-on practice is essential to provide you with the skills and confidence to turn a life-threatening situation into a lifesaving one. This could be the most important class you'll ever take. This class is designed specifically for parents, grandparents and caregivers of babies from birth to one year.
- Take after the fifth month of pregnancy before the birth of your baby.
- Can also be taken anytime during baby’s first year. If taken after the baby is born, please find alternate care for your infant. Babies and children may not attend this class.
- Each participant will practice infant CPR skills on his/her own infant manikin.
- Choke-saving (Foreign Body Airway Obstruction) techniques.
- Emergency assessment and injury prevention topics discussed.
- Review of SIDS prevention and Safe-Sleep Guidelines.
- Curriculum based on American Heart Association’s “Friends & Family” CPR Program and is not a certification course.

Registration Information:
- One registration accommodates two adults.
- Parents, grandparents and caregivers strongly encouraged.
- Class Length: Two hour session.
