Isis Parenting is the preferred provider of childbirth education for North Shore Medical Center.

For your convenience, we are offering the following classes on-site at the hospital: Prepared Childbirth, as a One-Day class or a 2-week series, Breastfeeding Basics and Newborn Essentials.

Spanish Childbirth classes are also offered at NSMC. To register for a Spanish childbirth class, please call the instructor, Jessica Menendez, at 978.535.5617.

All Prepared Childbirth classes at the hospital include a tour. Separate hospital tours are available for NSMC patients who are not attending hospital-based classes. To schedule a separate tour of the NSMC Birthplace, please call 978.354.3330.

Special Instructions for Classes at North Shore Medical Center

NSMC classes meet at 81 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970. Go to the Davenport 4 Visitor Entrance, turn left and take the elevator to the 1st floor. Exit the elevator, bear left and follow the hallway to the conference rooms.
Parking is available for free in the large lot in front of the Surgicenter.

Update: North Shore Medical Center is currently building a new, state-of-the-art power plant on the Salem Campus.
