In addition to teaching Infant/Child CPR and First Aid classes at Isis Parenting, Jonathan L. Epstein, MEMS, NREMT-P is the Executive Director of NorthEast Emergency Medical Services, Inc., one of five Regional Emergency Medical Services Councils in the Commonwealth. Jonathan's clinical background includes serving as a paramedic in several major metropolitan areas including greater Boston. Currently, Jonathan volunteers as the Vice-Chair of the American Red Cross Advisory Council on First Aid, Aquatics, Safety and Preparedness (ACFASP) nationally and as a member of the local American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee. Jonathan is also a member of the leadership team of the International First Aid Science Advisory Board and is a core contributor to the International First Aid Guidelines writing team that is responsible for reviewing the science and research related to first aid and developing the guidelines used to develop the first aid curriculums used throughout the world. Jonathan is also a proud and loving father of two teenagers and lives in the Needham area.
