Isis is the place for expecting and new parents. Our community-based centers provide education, products and support all under one roof.
Founded in 2003 in a small, one-room space in Brookline, MA (under the original name of Isis Maternity), we created Isis to respond to the unique needs of expecting parents, babies, toddlers and new families. Today we have four bustling centers across eastern Massachusetts, an online store (including baby gift registry), and an active online community. Whether in our centers or online, our vision remains the same: to be the nation’s most trusted pregnancy and early parenting destination.
How do we do that?
Hands down, we run the best parenting classes and infant/toddler enrichment programs out there. There’s a reason the nation’s leading medical institutions have chosen to partner with us to provide their patients with pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and parenting education. We make learning about these topics fun and empower you to be the parents you want to be.
We find the best baby stuff the world has to offer and we bring it to you in a pared-down, digestible assortment. Whether it’s strollers and car seats or diaper bags and breastfeeding supplies, you can be sure that if we carry it, it’s worthy of your consideration. We’ll never leave you hanging. Our team knows baby gear inside and out and loves nothing more than to show you features and functionality until you’re certain it will make your life better.
We believe in community – both physical and virtual. We know that you can learn as much from each other as from the experts leading your groups and classes. That’s why we focus on bringing people together in our centers and online. Having a baby is transformational and we want to help you make that transformation more joyful. Perhaps most importantly, we believe in giving back. Our Membership program helps to support the work we do in our local communities to nurture strong babies and families regardless of economic barriers.
