Salt Marsh Pottery Baby Print Tiles

Salt Marsh Pottery and Isis team up each month to offer these unique “Baby Tiles” at our center. These beautiful, hand-crafted ceramic tile prints are actual impressions of your baby’s hand and footprints, painted and personalized to your specifications. This heirloom quality tile makes a lovely nursery decoration and is a perfect and treasured gift for grandparents as well. Paperweight and holiday ornament handprints are also available – you have the option on arrival of making two smaller prints (paperweight or ornaments) for the same price as one full-sized tile.

The Salt Marsh artists will make careful impressions of your baby’s hands and feet using natural and nontoxic clay, and you may specify the personalization, decorations and colors desired from the many samples on-site. Wiggly babies are a specialty! The actual appointment at Isis will take about 20 minutes but allow a little extra time as children are unpredictable.

The clay tiles are taken back to the Salt Marsh Pottery studios where they are dried, hand fired, and painted to your specifications. Tiles will be beautifully packaged and ready for pick-up at the Isis Maternity center of your choice in about three or four weeks.

Infants through 6 months will create one 7×9” tile or two, 4” ornaments or paperweights.
Pricing is $117 for Members ($130 for non-Members).

Babies older than 6 months and toddlers require a larger, 9×12” tile (or two, 5” ornaments).
Pricing is $130 for Members ($145 for non-Members).

If you’d like hand prints of two children on one tile, register for the larger, 9×12” size.
Larger tiles or family group tiles are also available at additional cost, call for more information.
