Parenting Workshop

Raising a Healthy Eater

Is your baby ready to move past purees? Is your toddler stuck in a nugget rut?

While we cannot guarantee that our children will always be healthy, we can promote good health by feeding them a healthy diet.

During this workshop, we will discuss the importance of eating healthy, the challenges we face in feeding our children well during different developmental stages, and specific strategies to encourage a healthy eater.

Taste, temperature, texture, color, preconceived notions and parental pushing all have an impact over helping your child accept new foods. Learn what works (and what probably will not) to limit mealtime struggles and encourage healthy eating habits at different ages and stages.

This two-hour interactive workshop offers strategies for your own family needs and includes written materials and time for your questions.Perfect for those with children ages 1- 3 years of age.

One of our most popular workshop speakers, Joanna is a feeding specialist and nutrition educator, certified holistic health counselor and mom. She has a decade of teaching experience with children ranging from infancy to 13 years of age, including special needs and children on the autism spectrum. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Special Education and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Development.

Joanna is also available for private phone consultations through our Parenting Consults program.
